$9,450,000 – Auto Accident. While making deliveries for work with his child in the backseat, Farma Kane was in a car accident that left him quadriplegic and dependent on a ventilator. Because he was on duty, the employer was held responsible and the compensation went to the upbringing of his child.
$4,000,000 Verdict – Auto Accident. Scott Kingsley’s motorcycle collided with an intoxicated woman’s car when she pulled out in front of him. Kingsley died as a result of the accident and the jury awarded compensation to Mr. Kingsley’s widow and daughter.
$498,500 – Auto Accident. An auto accident resulted in Cathy Schrang needing serious surgery. Though her insurance company first limited her to $100,000, after mediation she able to recover $398,500 more.
$375,000 – Auto Accident. 48 year old woman was riding in the car with her husband when another driver pulled out in front of them. She suffered significant injuries to her brachial plexis nerves. Mr. Jones’ firm hired an expert to prepare a life car plan for her and was able to recover the money needed for future medical needs.
$185,000 – Auto Accident. Vaughn VanSant was a rear seat belted passenger in an SUV that rolled over after being cut off by a drunk driver. After the case was mediated, the defendant agreed to pay.
$678,500 – Auto Accident. Tony Britton was stopped in traffic on I-575 when a heavy duty work truck struck him from behind. Because the driver of the truck was working and the company had a significant insurance policy, Mr. Jones’ firm was able to get Britton the compensation he deserved.
$225,000 – Auto Accident/Cherokee County. 73 year old man’s vehicle overturned as the result of a full-size pick up rearending him. After several days in the hospital, he incurred high medical expenses. The experienced Marietta trucking attorneys at Andrew W. $1,500,000 – Trucking Accident/Atlanta. 19 year old woman was the front seat passenger of a vehicle being driven by her boyfriend. He lost control of his vehicle and collided with another vehicle. A truck driver was unable to avoid a collision with the vehicle being driven by her boyfriend. She died as a result of the accident. After further investigation, it was found that the truck driver was speeding and had improper brake levels. Therefore, he was held responsible.
$1,700,000 Verdict – Trucking Accident. John Lawler was killed when an overhead sign fell on to his vehicle after an out-of-control truck ran hit the base of the sign. After a thorough investigation, it was found that the trucking company and the pipe loading company were responsible for the accident.
$1,000,000 – Trucking Accident. Mr. Fallis ran into the rear of Mr. Arnold’s stopped 18 wheeled tanker truck in an active on-ramp lane. The impacted caused fatal injuries to Mr. Fallis and after investigation, it was found that this accident was preventable bringing in a settlement following mediation.
$2,000,000 – Trucking Accident. Alfred Thomas was driving a truck for his employer when he crossed the center line on a highway and struck and killed Lisa Batten. We were able to secure a settlement on behalf of Lisa’s husband.
$1,000,000 – Trucking Accident. Daisy Elzey lost control of her car and hit another truck after being tailed and harassed by a tractor-trailer being driven by Jeffrey Good. Though Mr. Good’s truck did not make contact with Ms. Elzey, Mr. Jones’ firm was able to reach a settlement with the defendans four days before the trial was to start.
$330,000 – Trucking Accident/Cleveland, Georgia. The driver of a tractor-trailer flatbed blocked a two-lane highway for a full 60 seconds while trying to turn around. When our 37 year old client came around a curve on the highway, he struck the flatbed and suffered severe head trama.
$4,200,000 Verdict – Premises Liability. Katoria Lee and her son had stopped at a Wal-Mart late one evening to pick up groceries. On her way back to the car, she was shot in the back by a car jacker who was trying to steal he car with her son inside. Upon investigation, it was found that Wal-Mart failed to increase security after an increase of crimes. The jury sided with Ms. Lee after a seven day trial.
Confidential Settlement – Premises Liability. Ronald Gutkowski was brutally murdered in his Hilton Hotel room by Timothy Dawson. Due to inadequate security provided by Hilton Hotels, Mr. Jones was able to get a substantial confidential settlement to Mrs. Gutkowski.
$400,000 – Premises Liability. Ms. Carroll fell and injured herself while walking on uneven pavement at the Fulton County Zoo. Mr. Jones determined that Zoo employees had knowledge of the unsafe condiiton of the payment and was able to secure a substantial settlement for the client.
Confidential Settlement – Premises Liability. William Savage slipped and permanently injured his knee upon walking into a lobby of an Atlanta Hilton Hotel. The tile floor had just been waxed and buffed by Crystal Building Services who then failed to set up the proper cones and alerts for the slippery conditions. The case was eventually settled at mediation.
$1,800,000 – Premises Liability. Daniel Helm died after being electrocuted by exposed steel power cables while building an office inside the manufacturing plant of Smith Ironworks, Inc. Smith Ironworks was aware of the exposed wires and agreed to pay the Helm family before going to trial.
Confidential Settlements – Tire Failure/Rollover. Mr. Jones’ firm represented the families of several individuals who were killed or injured when their General tire tread separated and their Ford Bronco II rolled over. Mr. Jones’ firm uncovered evidence of the tire company’s cover-up of their defective tires and significant confidential settlements were awarded to each client.
Confidential Settlement – Tire Failure/Rolloever. Italia Hines was seriously injured when one of the Firestone tires failed on the vehicle she was riding in. Bridgestone/Firestone was sued and a settlement was reached to cover Italia’s injuries and future needs.
Confidential Settlements – Sport Utility Rollovers/Gwinnett County. Mr. Jones has achieved success in over 20 Ford Bronco II vehicle rollover cases including one on behalf of James and Belinda Watkins for the death of their son, Brian.

Confidential Settlement – Door Latches. Jessica Thompson was a passenger in a Doge Minivan when it was involved in an accident. Due to a defective liftgate latch, she was ejected from the back and suffered a traumatic brain injury. The settlement from Chrysler guaranteed 24/7 care for Jessica for life.
Confidential Settlement – Door Latches. Barry Hart was ejected from a Chevy S-10 pickup truck due to a defective hinge on the door. Mr. Hart died and due to evidence of a defective latch, GM compensated Mrs. Hart.
Confidential Settlement – Product Liability. A Honeywell fire alarm installed in the Cole’s home failed to properly work and alert seven year old Garrison and his father of the fire. Garrison eventually died of injuries and Honeywell agreed to pay a substantial confidential compensation amount to his family.
$2,000,000 – Medical Malpractice. Michael Carroll underwent a serious lumbar surgery in which the doctors mis-positioned six screws causing permanent pain to Mr. Carroll. Less than a week before trial, the defendants paid Mr. Carroll and his wife to settle the claims.
Confidential Settlement – Medical Malpractice. Belinda Kent’s son, Christopher Kent, suffered severe and permanent injuries at birth. Upon investigation and discovery, the defendants paid the Kent family a sum that will provide care for Christopher for the future.
$2,000,000 – Medical Malpractice. After a negligently performed surgery that used some defective products, Mary McLendon died two weeks later. Settlements were obtained from all defendants.
$1,300,000 – Road Design. Misty Wilson lost control of her vehicle and died due to a poor design in the height of the road and shoulder. The jury later awarded Misty’s family the monetary compensation.
$675,000 – Road Design. Teresa Cline was struck and killed by an oncoming car. However, the fault was due to the DOT failing to adequately trim the plants at the intersection, causing sight limitations. Less than a week before trial, the DOT agreed to pay to settle the case.
$675,000 – Miscellaneous. Josh Reider suffered severe head trauma and died while moving school equipment during an unauthorized baseball practice. Mr. Jones’ firm found the school district liable.
Confidential Settlement – Miscellaneous. Mr. Jones’ firm successfully represented more than twenty individuals who contracted Hepatitis A from contaminated food at a Schlotzsky’s Deli. Each client received significant financial compensation.
