Prior to opening his firm in November 2006, Andrew was a founding partner of Cooper, Jones & Cooper where he represented plaintiffs in major personal injury and wrongful death cases.  As both lead and co-counsel in several noteworthy jury trials, including cases against Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Wal-Mart, Georgia Pipe and Cresco Lines, he won considerable awards for his clients.  He successfully represented his clients in cases against Home Depot, Thomas Concrete, Allied Ready Mix, Isuzu, Daimler Chrysler, Honeywell, TRW, UPS, Georgia Pacific, Hilton Hotel Corporation, Schlotzky's, Toyota, and Lakeway Trucking, securing millions of dollars in relief.

Political Activities

Andrew is extremely active in both state and county bar associations, and has served in many capacities. In addition to those listed above, Andrew served on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of Georgia from 2002-2005; the Investigative and Review Panels of the State Disciplinary Board; the Board of Trustees for the Lawyer’s Foundation of Georgia, and the Georgia Bar Foundation. He also served as Treasurer of the Cobb County Bar Association in 1997 and 1998.

Andrew is active in professional legal organizations including the Georgia Trial Lawyer’s Association, and the American Trial Lawyer’s Association. He served as the chair of the Civil Justice PAC for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association for two years.  The Civil Justice PAC is the political arm of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association which is responsible for raising money which is used to support legislative candidates around the state who are committed to preserving the right to trial by jury.

Andrew and his wife, Ashley, live in Marietta with their three children, Rutledge, Elinor, and Reid.  Andrew is active in a number of civil and community organizations and is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta.
